Carcano rifle ogive

A classic example of Trench Art, very rare to find.

It is an Italian rifle ogive manually drilled at the top and engraved at the bottom

These works on common tools in the Great War were done by soldiers to obtain useful objects for their life at the front or ornamental ones such as bracelets, necklaces and rings.

This ogive was probably the beginning of some piece of art, unfortunately never finished
