Pocket watch

My first onion pocket watch, found in the Italian rear of Monte Grappa.

An interesting and unique object that was really personal for a soldier at the front.

The drawings on the back and the ceramic on the front are well preserved and the dial designs are still visible. It is a pity that the glass has been broken and the two hands have been destroyed over time.

When I look at it I immediately think of how many times our soldiers looked at that watch before attacks or to check the time flowing, always relative in trenches.
