Foldable heater
Interesting recoveries are always made in the Dolomite screes, like many pieces of this Austrian folding stove, which I patiently collected and reassembled after a week of restoration.
Used in barracks on the peaks, it was made of metal sheet, but what made it really revolutionary for the time was its ability to folde on itself.
There were some hinges that made it flat and easy to carry: a rectangle 20cm wide and 50cm long that could be put into a backpack.
As you can see, mine can no longer be folded because of deterioration over time.
